Blakeney Leigh Limited were commissioned by Enfield Council to provide Contract Administrator, Quantity
Surveyor & Clerk of Works services in relation to cost and contract management services for the Enfield Council Street Properties – External Wall Insulation and Other Planned Maintenance Works project. The contractor involved the thermal upgrading of street properties including funded via LAD1B funding and non-funded works. LAD1B funded works were carried out to PAS20:35, increasing energy rating of properties from D to at least a C or C+ energy rating, works monitored & signed off by approved Retrofit coordinator registered with TrustMark and works carried out by approved TrustMark accredited contractors.
Works carried out included asbestos surveys & removal, scaffolding, structural repairs, EWI insulation, dash render finish, brick slip finish, fat roof replacement, pitched roof repairs, roofline extensions, new window cills / fascias / soffits where required, roof space insulation upgrades, boiler/flue alterations, extractor fan replacement or installation, rainwater goods replacement, associated works.
