Project Description
lakeney Leigh were commissioned initially to undertake condition surveys of war memorials across the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Using our latest 3-Dimensional scanning technology, – Blakeney Leigh created an accurate visual record of these historic structures, whilst using the Historic England report format to produce a comprehensive set of survey reports.
Following on from the initial surveys, Blakeney Leigh were then asked to manage a programme of repairs for these important landmarks as part of the 2018 Armistice Day centenary services.
On-site consultations with architects and the Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust ensured the concerns of all stakeholders were taken on board.
The project was supervised throughout to ensure budget, programme and quality targets were met.
