Project Description
Blakeney Leigh were instructed by Engie, the main contractor, to undertake a full architectural design and specification for the estate wide regeneration works, including demolition of a podium between three tower blocks, creation of new entrances, new residential units for social tenants, addition of a TRA hall and landscaping to surrounding area. The project included the installation of Euroclass A1 rated external cladding panels and associated stone wool insulation.
This vast redevelopment project presented us with a number of challenges, including the continuous inhabitation of all three blocks, constraints posed by the existing structure, very broad building control requirements and tightened regulations, which were all dealt with by our team with particular attention and thorough considerations
