Project Description
Blakeney Leigh were contracted to RIBA stage 0-7 for the site remediation on the former Thomas Tallis school site and delivery of 122 new modular council homes to net carbon zero standards including:
Key achievements:
– Complex remediation. Detailed soil analysis allowed targeted soil removal with a net saving of £1.8m
– Bespoke ‘Clerk of Works’ and ‘Site Progress’ repor apps (developed in-house) to assist with tracking survey data gathered during site and work-in-progress inspections, such as works completed, materials on site uploaded weekly to present a clear overview of day-to-day outcomes and achievements.
– Detailed knowledge of managing and monitoring in accordance with Part 2A of the Building Regulations and higher risk buildings within the development.
