lakeney Leigh were approached by a client who was interested in having a loft conversion to incorporate an extra bedroom with en-suite built on their property.

The property is a Victorian end of terrace. It was identified as being set within a conservation area. Special care had to be taken when designing the rear dormers, with mansard link, to be in keeping with the surrounding context and ensure the character of the property was maintained.

Blakeney Leigh carried out an on-site measured survey. We provided a set of existing and proposed planning drawings, compliant with the local authorities loft extension in a conservation area requirements, to obtain planning permission.
