Project Description
lakeney Leigh were instructed by Saltash Enterprises Ltd to provide design responsibility on a Design and Build contract for their client Life Lab.
The existing premises consisted of two squash courts and amateur football style changing rooms and showers.
The client requested a quality space they could use for personal training. The new gym facilities have been stocked with the latest personal training equipment, as well as fitness data reporting software for combined use on gym equipment for personal use.
The change of use of the project included full electrical lighting and power design as well as a full refurbishment of the changing facilities, specialist gym flooring and sound insulation, heating and cooling and external entrance treatment.
Blakeney Leigh provided design drawings and specification for the contractor to refurbish the space whilst complying with all current legislation for public spaces.
